Best Lawyers in America 2012 Honors Firm Attorneys - 2011-08-31

Bob Langdon and J. Kent Emison were selected this week by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2012. The annual guide is published by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C., and is regarded as one of the definitive guides to America's leading lawyers. 

Bob and Kent were both named as leading attorneys in the category of personal injury for plaintiffs. In addition, Kent was honored as one of the top product liability attorneys.

Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has based its peer review process on an exhaustive survey in which more than 39,000 leading attorneys cast almost 3.1 million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their practice areas. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed. 

Bob has focused his practice on personal injury cases for more than three decades. In these cases, defective vehicles or products have injured or killed the plaintiffs he represented, and have resulted in multi-million dollar verdicts for seriously injured clients nationwide. Bob was one of two attorneys in the state to be named "Legal Champion" as part of Missouri Lawyers Weekly's "Lawyer of the Year" program in 2010. 

Kent devotes 100% of his practice to litigation in product liability, trucking accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and other cases involving wrongful death and personal injury. In August 2011 he was featured in the National Law Journal on the subject of trucking litigation and e-discovery trends, due to his leadership in lawsuits over trucking accidents across the country.
