Brett Emison to Lead MATA Social Media Panel - 2011-06-08

Langdon & Emison attorney Brett Emison will present at the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys' 53rd annual convention, taking place at the Lake Ozark, Mo., on June 24. Brett's presentation is titled "Social media and your practice," and will focus on social media's influence on litigation and on lawyers' private practice.

The full selection of MATA programming will extend into Sunday, June 26, with registration for the four-day extravaganza taking place Thursday, June 23.  The theme for this year's conference is "Big Top MATA."

Brett has been published twice on this topic in 2011. And with his frequently updated blog dedicated to consumer safety advocacy, Kansas City Injury Board, Brett is familiar with the way digital media has affected the new landscape of litigation.

Named a "Rising Star" by Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers for 2010 in the category of products liability, Brett's practice focuses on catastrophic injury and death cases. Brett serves on the Board of Governors for MATA, and is currently co-chair of its new members committee.
