Langdon & Emison partner Brett Emison has been added to the ranks of "Elite Lawyers of America" based on his service to clients in the area of personal injury law.
According to the organization, "The Elite Lawyers of America was formed in order to recognize the outstanding achievements of a select group of lawyers who have obtained a verdict or settlement of 2 million dollars or more in a civil case."
Brett serves on the Executive Committee of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) and is involved in a number of legal organizations, including the Attorneys Information Exchange Group (AIEG), American Association for Justice (AAJ), Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA), and the Lafayette County Bar Association. Because of his and the firm's experience in this area, he is regularly published by national trade publications on products liability and other contemporary topics in the law.
Brett's practice focuses almost exclusively on catastrophic injury and death cases, including automobile defects, railroad crossing accidents (train accidents), trucking accidents, and a variety of other cases.
