The law offices of Langdon & Emison has once again proudly supported the Mattie Rhodes Center Thanksgiving program, which will take place November 21 in Kansas City, Mo. This event will provide a holiday meal to those in the northeast Kansas City area, under the auspices of the region's longest-standing nonprofit organization dedicated to the Latino community.

The firm has donated frozen turkeys to the event, which will be prepared and shared with the guests from the community that day, along with a special presentation delivered by a chef from the area who will show how to create side dishes that complement the turkey. As long-standing supporters of the center, the firm also gave a donation of $500 to this event.

The Mattie Rhodes Center is one of the oldest non-profit groups in the Kansas City area, and for 117 years has cared for the community through programs that enrich the lives of children and families and enhance their ability to become creative and productive members of society. Today, Mattie Rhodes Center provides bilingual and bicultural mental health and social services tailored especially for Latinos. The organization's Latino Cultural Arts Division offers art education for all ages and a family-friendly gallery.
