Bob Langdon was rewarded with the opportunity to be named a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. The Academy's bylaws limit Fellowship to 500 active trial lawyers under the age of 70. Bob will be inducted at the organization's annual summer meeting in Vail, Colo.
Bob is one of the few Missouri-based attorneys to have earned the AV rating distinction from Martindale Hubbell for 20 years straight. For over three decades he has focused his practice on personal injury cases where defective vehicles or products have injured or killed the plaintiffs he represented. His leadership in the profession has also led him to serve as an Executive Board member of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group (AIEG), as President of the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers, and as a past member of the Board of Governors of the American Association for Justice.
According to the Academy's web site, it is "a group of truly elite trial lawyers representing both sides of the Bar: prosecutors and defense lawyers in criminal cases, and plaintiffs' and defense counsel in civil litigation (including business and personal injury cases)." Membership includes lawyers from more than 30 countries, and is by invitation only after a careful peer evaluation process.
Bob devotes 100% of his practice to personal injury and wrongful death litigation in accidents involving automobiles, aviation, product liability and similar litigation.
