Iowa Association for Justice Promotes Civil Justice Campaign - 2011-09-12

Susan Saladoff’s movie, "Hot Coffee," shines a spotlight on some important lessons. It tackles the mistruths, misadventures and misperceptions generated by the well-financed and well-organized tort reformers. It also re-establishes the importance of the plaintiff attorney’s focus on our clients’ rights and wellbeing. And just as important, it demonstrates the impact that one proactive person can have by advocating truth, compassion and justice.

Along with Let America Know, the Iowa Association for Justice created a special Hot Coffee Promotion. (Langdon & Emison is a member of the Iowa Association of Justice.) IAJ and Let America Know will be hosting a free Webcast on September 12, 2011, with Susan Saladoff to discuss the movie, share her insights and answer questions.

The Iowa Association for Justice has been working with Let America Know to help beat back the assault on the nation's courts. "We have a rare opportunity with 'Hot Coffee' to connect with the public in ways that can truly make a significant impact," the association said in a release. "Let America Know is a powerful weapon that gives you a way to personally fight back — by building the kind of grassroots participation that we need to promote a fair and effective justice system."

The Iowa Association of Justice has invited members to view a free Webcast and join the program. For more information, concerned citizens can visit the Let America Know Website.
