KC Magazine Names Bob Langdon, Kent Emison "Top Attorneys for Missouri & Kansas" - 2011-08-05

Car and automobile accident attorneys

Partners Bob Langdon and Kent Emison have been named among the Top Attorneys in Missouri & Kansas for the year, by KC magazine. The full list will be published in an upcoming edition of KC magazine, and is based on research culled by SuperLawyers.

According to the publication, while a much larger number of attorneys earn the distinction of leading attorneys within their respective areas of practice, only a rare few are included in the echelon of "top attorneys" for the two-state region. The largest criterium of judgment for this annual listing is an extensive peer review process of fellow award-winning attorneys.

For more than thirty years, Bob has focused his practice on personal injury cases where defective vehicles or products have injured or killed the plaintiffs he represented. He has obtained multi-million dollar verdicts for seriously injured clients from Seattle to Baltimore, and from California to Florida. In 2010, he was one of two Missouri attorneys to be named "Legal Champion" as part of Missouri Lawyers Weekly's "Lawyer of the Year" program.

A Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and a board member of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group, Kent devotes 100% of his practice to litigation in product liability, trucking accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and other cases involving personal injury and wrongful death. In that role he has served as lead trial counsel in numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements and has handled cases all across the United States, from Florida to Hawaii.

Kent's reputation in the field is due to his track record of obtaining the maximum compensation for injured individuals and for families who have lost loved ones. Throughout his career he has been an advocate of trial by jury and is seen as a leader in the profession. He served as President of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA) from 2005-2006, and was on the MATA Executive Committee from 1997-2007.
