A Langdon & Emison legal team led by Jessica Agnelly Krawczyk has obtained a six-figure settlement in an auto accident case in St. Clair County, Missouri.  The firm successfully represented a Carrollton, Mo., resident who had been injured in an August 2010 car wreck and had suffered injuries to his back, neck, spine, arms and hands. Gregory Land v. Kathryn Ann Wall.

Mr. Land was a passenger in a 2006 Pontiac G6, which was driven by the defendant.  When the defendant failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of MO Route 52, the vehicle crossed the highway and became airborne.  The vehicle did not come to a rest until passing through a wooden fence and into a farm field.

As a result of the negligent driving, Mr. Land’s injuries left him with impaired mobility, mental anguish, scarring, pain, disfigurement, trauma and emotional and mental distress.  The firm successfully argued on behalf of Mr. Land in the suit filed in the Circuit Court of St. Clair County, Mo., that the settlement funds secured were necessary for injuries and damages and for continued medical care and treatment.

Jessica Agnelly Krawczyk regularly represents individuals who have been injured by defective products, auto accidents, and pharmaceuticals. After completing numerous projects in the interest of public service, including a clerkship with the Honorable Michael W.
