Langdon & Emison Participates in Reading Across America - 2012-03-14

Reading Across America

In partnership with the National Education Association, Langdon & Emison and a wide range of business and media leaders participated in the NEA’s “Reading Across America” program this March. Media coverage of the annual celebration of reading appeared in CNN, Education Week, Access Hollywood, E! Entertainment Television, USA Today, the Huffington Post, Time for Kids and the Washington Post

The national kickoff event in March featured a “Seussational” theme.  Langdon & Emison attorneys and staff read to various schools in Lafayette County, Missouri.

“Every year on NEA’s Read Across America Day, the imaginations of children across the country are ignited when they open up a good book,” NEA President Dennis Van Roekel said at the national kickoff. “‘The Lorax’ is not only entertaining to read, but it also highlights the importance of protecting our air, land and water. Our students deserve to learn in a safe, healthy environment.”
