Bob Langdon and Kent Emison donated a collection of new toys and gifts for area youngsters this week, in partnership with the Lafayette County Juvenile Center and the Division of Family and Children Services, and with Hope House.

Hope House provides shelter and comprehensive services to victims of domestic violence in the Kansas City metro area. The organization offers safety, support and hope, helping victims of abuse start a new life, free from abuse. Meanwhile, the teens through the juvenile center who were reached out to by the firm this winter may not have otherwise received Christmas gifts.

The firm has a committed pro bono and community service program. In addition to helping efforts to provide pro bono legal services to the indigent through organizations such as the Midwest Innocence Project, the Association of Women Lawyers, MATA-TLC, and various bar associations, the firm actively supports many nonprofit organizations. These include the American Cancer Society, Harvesters, the Mattie Rhodes Center, and many more.
