Langdon & Emison Opens New Office in Kansas City Metro Area - 2011-01-01

Marking the latest step in its strategic expansion into key legal markets for this 21-year old firm, Langdon & Emison has announced the opening of a new office that will open in North Kansas City, Mo., this month. The office will be located where Armour Road and Swift Avenue intersect in the heart of a historic downtown district. North Kansas City has been a regional hub for the rail and agriculture industries since it was incorporated in 1912 - the firm will continue to be headquartered in Lexington, Mo, where it has been based for the past two decades.

"Were of course excited for what this means for the Kansas City legal community and for our clients," said Higginsville resident Kent Emison, who recently was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. "Though well continue to be dedicated to staying based here in Lafayette County, we are excited to expand into this additional location in this part of Missouri as well."

The office will possess innovative conferencing and technology solutions for trial attorneys, as the space that has been renovated to befit the firms specialties. And since the city is located on the bluff on the northern side of the Missouri River, the new location offers excellent views of the Kansas City skyline.
