Langdon & Emison attorneys David Brose, Brett Emison, and Phyllis Norman have been named to The National Trial Lawyers’ “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” list. The three join Bob Langdon and Kent Emison as members of the NTL.

According to The National Trial Lawyers, the group is “comprised of America’s premier trial lawyers from each state.” Membership is obtained through invitation only. The NTL sponsors several conferences and seminars, and is affiliated with the Association of Wage and Hour Attorneys, the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America, and the Environmental Trial Lawyers Association.

David has successfully represented Langdon & Emison clients in a variety of products liability and wrongful death matters, including a recent Chicago area fatal workplace accident. As a result of his growing reputation as a standout litigator in this arena, the 2010 edition of Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers named him a "Rising Star" for product liability litigation. David has been published in national trade journals on areas of worker’s comp and product liability litigation.

Brett’s practice focuses on catastrophic injury and death cases. He serves on the Executive Committee for MATA, and is the primary author of the blog dedicated to consumer safety advocacy, Kansas City Injury Board. In September Brett will be honored as one of Missouri’s Up and Coming Lawyers by Missouri Lawyers Weekly in St. Louis.

Currently president-elect of the Greater Kansas City chapter of the Association of Women Lawyers, Phyllis is regularly a contributor to nonprofit organizations dedicated to the legal profession. Phyllis' practice focuses on product liability litigation, specifically in the areas of class action suits, auto product defects and mass tort litigation. She has litigated cases at both the trial court and appellate court levels.
