David A. Brose

David Brose

David has been practicing law in state and federal courts across the country since earning his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Missouri - Columbia. As a former partner in a civil litigation defense firm, he defended various Fortune 500 companies in both personal injury and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability and trucking cases. David now puts his understanding of defense tactics and strategies to work on behalf of victims across the country that have been seriously injured or killed by a wide variety of dangerous products and instrumentalities.

David's practice has recently included the successful representation of Langdon & Emison clients in cases involving automobile fires, defective automobile design, semi-truck collisions, and various other types of products. As a result of his growing reputation as a standout litigator in this arena, the 2010 and 2011 editions of Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers named him a "Rising Star" for product liability litigation.

While in law school, David served as a member of the Missouri Environmental Law and Policy Review, and received the C.A.L.I. Award for work in Corporate Taxation. He also earned a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Missouri.

David has been an active member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. When away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy Brose, M.D., a family practice physician in the Kansas City area, and their daughter Ava.
