Gunner developed his commitment to those who have been injured during his active career at the UMKC School of Law, and then while at the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office in Independence, Mo. Gunner is now heavily involved in trial teams at Langdon & Emison, representing a full spectrum of personal injury clients. He joined the firm in 2019 as an associate attorney.
Gunner believes that protecting the community is the most important thing he can do as a lawyer. While at the Prosecutor’s office he oversaw a heavy caseload of DWIs, drug crimes, and violent crimes in eastern Jackson County. Gunner prepared cases for trial and performed a thorough amount of legal research for the General Crimes Division’s caseload.
While at UMKC Gunner worked on the UMKC Law Review and was awarded the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Medal for Excellence in Advocacy after competing in the National Trial Competition.
