Lindsey is adept at compiling and synthesizing legal precedent and the facts of our cases, which forms the basis for everything she writes – pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial and appellate briefs. Through her work, she has developed a depth of knowledge in regulatory compliance and a thorough understanding of regulations that govern the trucking, railroad and automotive industries.

Lindsey’s academic achievements include earning her law degree from University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law, where she was awarded a Second Century Scholarship for academic excellence. As a recipient of the Trustees’ Scholarship, Lindsey earned a full ride to UMKC, where she also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. In addition, Lindsey received the Robert C. Byrd and Bright Flight scholarships, and she was an active member of the Honors Program.

During law school, Lindsey completed two prestigious clerkships. In the winter of 2012, she clerked for the Hon. Victor Howard at the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District. There, she handled several motions for post-conviction relief and drafted opinions for the Court. In the spring of 2012, she clerked for the Hon. Scott O. Wright at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, conducting extensive statutory research and drafting orders for the judge.

Lindsey was a summer associate with Humphrey, Farrington & McClain, in Independence, Mo., where she put her formal training to work drafting various pleadings, motions and appellate briefs, attending hearings, and preparing attorneys for oral arguments. She also participated in the firm’s prominent mass torts practice.
