Brain Injury Case Example: George v. Johnson Controls, Inc., $8 million jury verdict

Langdon & Emison won an $8 million jury verdict for the family of a 2 year-old girl who suffered a brain injury when the back of the driver’s seat broke during a rear-end accident, causing the driver’s head to hit the young girl’s head. The firm filed a product liability suit against Johnson Controls, Inc., a large auto seat manufacturer, and successfully argued the company was responsible for the 2 year-old’s brain injury.
