Kent Emison Speaks on Truck Accident Litigation at Annual Symposium

Kent Emison will speak November 30, 2012, at the Kansas Association for Justice annual symposium at Crown Center in Kansas City, Mo. He will present “Deposition of the Defendant Driver in a Trucking Case” in the morning session, in which he will discuss key strategies learned during his career as a litigator.

The Kansas Association for Justice is a not-for-profit professional organization that champions individual and corporate responsibility and accountability, the right to trial by jury, independence of the judiciary, and high standards of ethics. Its members hold those who injure others accountable for their actions.

According to the KsAJ web site, the group “is a specialty bar that supports attorneys in their efforts to fulfill its mission through professional education, including real-time exchange of information, strategies and techniques.” The CLE event will be offered in conjunction with the organization’s annual meeting.

Kent has served as lead attorney in many significant trucking representations.  A Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, he has spoken and written on trucking litigation before national and regional audiences.
