L&E’s David Brose to Speak at Mizzou Law School’s 1L Boot Camp

Langdon & Emison attorney David Brose will participate today as a panelist at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law 1L Boot Camp from 5:15 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event, “Which Branch is Right for You: An Introduction to Legal Practice Areas,” will feature multiple panel sessions where attorneys will discuss a range of topics to introduce students to the practice of law from a practical sense.

David will return to his alma mater to discuss the pros and cons of practicing law at a large law firm versus a small firm and will share his experiences working for both types of firms.

David joined Langdon & Emison in 2009 after working at a large civil litigation defense firm in Kansas City, Mo., where he was a partner and defended various Fortune 500 companies in both personal injury and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability and trucking cases.

David now puts his understanding of defense tactics and strategies to work on behalf of victims across the country who have been seriously injured or killed in trucking accidents or by a wide range of product defects.

Since joining Langdon & Emison, David has earned a nationwide reputation in plaintiff’s trucking accident litigation as well as in litigation involving vehicle fires, defective vehicles and other types of consumer products.

David is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where he earned his juris doctorate and a master’s degree in business administration. He has been honored by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers and by the National Trial Lawyers 40 under 40.
