Karen Crouch is a trial lawyer in Langdon & Emison’s personal injury and complex torts practice, where she represents individuals and families seriously injured in Missouri, Kansas, and the surrounding region. Her practice focuses on civil litigation on behalf of plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury and complex tort matters.

Karen’s legal experience spans multiple areas of law and professional settings. Most recently, she gained hands‑on courtroom experience through the Criminal Practice Clinic at the Callaway County Prosecutor’s Office, where she learned Missouri criminal procedure and advocated on behalf of the State. During her externship at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Jefferson City, she developed strong legal writing skills by drafting jury instructions, sentencing memoranda, and research memoranda, while refining her oral advocacy. As a summer clerk at Langdon & Emison, she earned broad exposure to civil litigation by drafting motions, briefs, petitions, and proposed court orders, and conducting research across multiple jurisdictions—experience she now builds upon as an associate attorney.

Karen has been recognized for her advocacy skills with several prestigious honors, including the Order of the Barrister, the Missouri Lawyers Media “Leaders of Tomorrow” award, and the Fred L. Howard Prize for Excellence in the Advancement of Advocacy. She graduated magna cum laude from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Theology, with a minor in Public Policy, and earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2025. She is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and serves as a member of the New Lawyers Committee within the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys.
