
O. Nicole Smith
As an associate attorney at Langdon & Emison, Nicole handles a wide variety of product liability and personal injury cases.
Nicole is an integral part of the legal team at Langdon & Emison, where her strong research and writing skills are used to serve her personal injury clients. Nicole assists with researching and drafting petitions and complaints, other pleadings, briefs, and discovery, and also supports the management of the firm’s mass tort dockets.
Nicole joined Langdon & Emison in 2018 after clerking for the firm during law school and gaining outstanding experience early in her legal career as a clerk for judges at the state appellate and county levels. Nicole has also previously worked for a mass tort firm and as an associate.
A graduate of the KCMBA’s Bar Leadership Academy, Nicole remains active in the legal community as a member of several professional organizations including the AWL of Greater Kansas City and the KCMBA. She earned a scholarship from the Lafayette County Bar Association for her excellence as a law student at the University of Kansas, where she served on the Kansas Journal of Law & Public Policy and was a research assistant for a professor.
