Bob Langdon, Justin Watkins Published on Collision Avoidance Technology

Partners Bob Langdon and Justin Watkins were featured authors on the subject of Collision Avoidance Technology, which “is emerging as a key and increasingly central component to the determination of whether an injury or fatality could have been avoided.”  Collision Avoidance Technology and its Role as the Next Frontier in Motor Vehicle Products Liability appeared in the Winter 2023 edition of Trial Journal from the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.

This latest article looks at the variety of warning systems and autonomous systems available in today’s cars, and also takes a historical look at the historical developments in auto safety.  Recent court cases and litigation trends in this area are included to provide background on these developments in manufacturing.

Bob is a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and has tried numerous cases across the country related to auto products liability.  Justin represents clients in a wide array of personal injury litigation, including cases involving auto product defects, wrongful death, and dangerous consumer products.  He has been recognized as a Rising Star by Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers, and is involved with several bar associations, including the KCMBA.  Both lawyers practice in the firm’s Kansas City office.
