Kent Emison Presents at Western Trial Lawyers Association Annual Conference

Kent Emison delivered a presentation on enhanced damages in personal injury cases last week in a Western Trial Lawyers Association (WTLA) seminar.  The WTLA sponsors two continuing legal education seminars each year. These gatherings are designed to foster the open exchange of ideas among our broad spectrum of members, with trial attorneys coming in from all over the western half of the U.S.

Kent’s presentation looked at how economic and non-economic damages affect civil litigation, and recent strategies that trial attorneys should be aware of in the field. The WTLA aims to “bring both classroom education and social gatherings designed to encourage the exchange of new litigation ideas and experience.” This year’s summer conference for the organization was held in Hawaii.

Kent is a Fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and a board member of the Attorneys Information Exchange Group.  He concentrates the entirety of his practice to litigation in product liability, truck and motor vehicle accidents, and other cases involving personal injury and wrongful death. He has been lead trial counsel in numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, handling cases all across the United States.
