Langdon & Emison Promotes Adam Graves, David Brose to Partner

Langdon & Emison, a personal injury law firm with offices in Missouri and Illinois, has announced the promotion of attorneys Adam Graves and David Brose to partner, effective immediately.

Graves and Brose joined Langdon & Emison as associate attorneys in 2009. Since that time, they have been an integral part of the firm’s success and have distinguished themselves as attorneys and members of the legal community.

An experienced trial attorney, Graves represents clients in personal injury litigation throughout the United States, with a focus on complex product liability claims involving defective vehicles and other consumer products as well as nursing home abuse litigation. He has served as lead attorney in a large number of cases, many with a national footprint, including cases that have resulted in multi-million dollar and seven-figure verdicts for his clients.

Graves was a critical member of the trial team in Heco v. Midstate Dodge LLC et al., which resulted in a $43.1 million jury verdict for a Vermont woman who became quadriplegic after the seatback in her car failed when her vehicle was rear-ended. Graves also played a key role in Castillo v. Ford, which yielded a $23.4 million verdict in a Ford Explorer rollover and tire detread case, and George v. Johnson Controls, which ended in an $8 million jury verdict against an auto seat manufacturer for the death of a 2 year-old girl.

Brose has earned a national reputation as one of the top lawyers in trucking accident litigation. Having been honored by the National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40, David also has successfully represented clients in an array of product liability and personal injury litigation, including cases involving vehicle fires, defective automobile design, tire defects and propane explosions.

During his six years with the firm, Brose has assumed lead counsel responsibility in a significant number of cases, resulting in nearly $65 million in recoveries for his clients. In addition to his substantial caseload, Brose performs critical leadership and business development responsibilities, including building strategic relationships within the industry to advance key business objectives and opportunities for the firm.

“With the promotion of Adam and David to partner, Langdon & Emison will be in an even better position for continued growth and sustainability,” said founding partner Kent Emison. “Bob Langdon and I congratulate them both on this well-deserved distinction.”
