Langdon & Emison Sponsors MO Health Fairs for Latino Families in Need

Langdon & Emison was a proud sponsor of several 2016 Health and Resource Fairs that served more than 1,500 Latino and ethnic families that lack health insurance and related resources.

The fairs, coordinated by the University of Missouri Extension and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Alianzas (Alliances) program, reached Missouri residents from countries of origin such as Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, Belize and El Salvador.

“Langdon & Emison’s donations made it possible for families to receive health screenings and food, while also contributing to fun activities for children and many giveaways,” said Gerardo Martinez, Alianzas program director.

The firm’s sponsorship benefitted 10 health and resource fairs in communities such as St. Joseph, Monett, Marshall, Springfield, Milan, Branson and St. Louis.

“The UMKC Institute for Human Development and MU Extension are very grateful to Langdon & Emison for the kindness and generosity they always show to help statewide families in need,” said Martinez.
