Partner Brett Emison has been re-appointed to three influential committees within the American Association for Justice (AAJ). His terms on each will run today through July 31, 2027.
Brett continues to serve on the National Finance Council. Established in 2005, the National Finance Council leads all fundraising campaigns for the AAJ, including Leaders Forum and political fundraising for candidates. The primary goal for the NFC is to give necessary monetary resources to sustain the AAJ. L&E has been a Leaders Forum firm since 2011.
He has been a consistent member on the Publications Committee for more than ten years. This team of lawyers meets regularly to provide oversight to AAJ’s media services and publications, most notably Trial magazine, one of the leading magazines for plaintiff’s attorneys in the country.
Finally, Brett will remain active on the Voter Protection Committee. This group strives to work with state and national organizations who likewise protect citizens’ access to voting by being poll workers, poll monitors, and call center volunteers.
