Last night the firm enjoyed a group outing for families at Disney’s Newsies – the Musical, at Kansas City’s Starlight Theatre. Attorneys and staff had dinner together with our families and took in the show, about youth selling newspapers in 1899 New York and going on strike against newspaper ownership.
Partner Brett Emison is on the theatre’s board and the firm has sponsored many productions there. As the city’s largest continually operating performing arts organization, Starlight has presented Broadway musicals, popular concerts, and community programs to millions of Kansas Citians since 1950.
