It’s National Teen Driver Safety Week, Oct. 18–24

Crashes remain one of the leading causes of death for U.S. teens.

According to NHTSA data shared by the National Road Safety Foundation, 2,162 teen drivers died in crashes in 2024, and an estimated 184,129 teens were injured.

Parents and caregivers are a teen’s most important driving teachers.

This week, take a few minutes to talk about the basics:
✔ Put the phone away
✔ Buckle up, every trip
✔ Follow the speed limit
✔ Never drive impaired
✔ Limit passengers

And lead by example. Teens notice how we drive.
